Five For Friday: Five Favorite Environmentally Conscious Movies

allroadsfilm.jpgIn honor of National Geographic’s All Roads Film Festival, going on now through October 3rd, I decided to feature some of my favorite movies about the environment. If you’re in the Washington, D.C. area this weekend, check out the All Roads Film Festival. The website has a listing of all the movies playing this weekend. If you aren’t in the area, rent one of these movies, pop some popcorn, and learn a little bit about the environment from the comfort of your own home.

1. Fern Gully
    The magical inhabitants of a rainforest called FernGully fight to save their home that is threatened by logging and a polluting force of destruction called Hexxus.
