Villagers and WCS workers walk through forest and palm plantation around the village of Desa Longkib looking for snares to pull. Recently a tiger cub was caught near the village in a snare that was set for a pig or deer. The cub’s leg had to be amputated. Its not likely that it will return to the wild.
