Every day, National Geographic pushes boundaries to inspire, educate, illuminate, and make an impact. Now, it’s your turn. We’re searching for someone like you in the next generation of explorers who wants to touch lives and make a difference. It’s called Expedition Granted—a nationwide search to find the next generation of explorers—and to grant one person’s dream expedition for $50,000. 

Have an idea for a project that pushes boundaries and charts new territory? Tell us about it for your chance to win $50K to make it happen.

Too good to be true? We promise it’s real. Here’s how to enter:

1. Record a short video (2 minutes or less) about your passion project. Be sure to tell us what your idea is, who you are, and why you want to do it. You don’t need fancy equipment—you can record it on any device.
2. Upload your video to expeditiongranted.com by August 31, 2014 and answer a few quick questions to create your project page.
3. Then, share your new project page with friends, and have them vote for you! After August 31, National Geographic will select up to 10 finalists and announce them on September 16. Vote for the finalist you think should win up to once a day from then until September 29. On September 30, National Geographic will announce the 2014 winner of Expedition Granted!
