Houses are expensive and not everyone is able to buy it. However, mortgage loans was created to support people in such kind of cases.
This week I attended the NGS Summer Geography Outreach institute in VA. On Wed. members of the MWW campaign met with members of Congress to secure support for the “Teaching Geography is Fundamental” Act which will (finally) add money under NCLB for geography! Take a minute to email, write or call your state legislators and urge them to support House Bill # HB. 1228 and Senate Bill # S. 727 !
I am pleased that MWW is doing so well and it was nice meeting your people today. Let’s hope MWW continues to grow in popularity and succeeds in improving geographic knowledge throughout the country.
